Question 1

What is OrbiterX?

Accepted Answer

OrbiterX is an autonomous AI engineering agent — a desktop application for macOS and Windows that writes, runs, debugs, tests, and verifies code end-to-end. Unlike AI code generators that only suggest code, OrbiterX executes the full engineering loop: BUILD → RUN → DEBUG → TEST → VERIFY.

Question 2

How is OrbiterX different from Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code?

Accepted Answer

Traditional AI coding tools stop after generating code suggestions. OrbiterX is an autonomous engineering agent that takes the task through the full engineering loop: it writes the code, executes local builds, runs test suites, investigates errors, applies self-healing patches, and provides deterministic verification before you ship.

Question 3

Does OrbiterX run locally on my machine?

Accepted Answer

Yes. OrbiterX is a native cross-platform desktop application (macOS and Windows). Your codebase stays on your machine — OrbiterX runs terminal commands, type checks, and tests in secure local sandboxes. AI inference is routed through our Rust-powered Cloudflare gateway.

Question 4

Is OrbiterX free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. OrbiterX is completely free to download and use during the public beta period. Download it at orbiterxai.online.

Question 5

Accepted Answer
